We are delighted to invite you to a special celebration in honour of both Merdeka and the Swiss National Day! The significant month of Aug marks the independence days of both our host nation, Switzerland, and our beloved homeland, Malaysia. We are excited to come together as a community to celebrate these important occasions with joy and pride.
This year and for the first time, we are especially thrilled to celebrate by organising a unique boat trip on the Greifensee, ZH with the 'MS Stadt Uster', where we will be merging the Swiss kitchen with Malaysian flair which will be expressed through your national dress!

12:00 pm Guests arrive ( Boat will be staying at the harbor)
13:00 pm Boat leaves the harbor ( Lunch on the Lake)
15:00 pm Boat arrives at the harbor and stays

Venue: Maur Schifflände, Seestrasse 31, 8124 Maur
Dress Code: Traditional attire or national dress
Cost per person (adult or child): *CHF99 member | CHF130 non-member
Spaces available: 80 persons
*this event is heavily subsidised by MSA to make it affordable for its members. Members can bring in their non-member friends for the price of CHF99/adult.
Come in your best OLALA national attire and make heads turn! A prize will be awarded to the best-dressed (male and female). And with many tombola prizes (airline tickets, restaurant vouchers etc) to be won, come prepared to win a prize against your tombola ticket!
We encourage everyone to bring along friends and family to join in the festivities. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our rich culture, enjoy delicious food, and strengthen our community bonds.
